This website

No cookies and no sign-up. You can read every page without telling us anything.
Visitor counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
Hosting. Cloudflare delivers this site and our apps. Like any web host, its servers handle technical details such as your IP address and browser type, so they can send you the pages and keep out attacks. Cloudflare's own privacy policy explains how it handles them.

When you email us

We see your email address and what you write. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask for early access, to add you to the tester list. We don't share them, sell them, or add you to a mailing list.

Our apps

Signing in. While the apps are in early access, your email address is on our tester list in Cloudflare Access. When you open an app, Cloudflare emails you a one-time code to sign in.
Your songs and settings stay on your device. They're saved in your own web browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser's data for the app deletes them, so download a copy of anything you want to keep.
Making songs. Some buttons ask our server to make a song. The request carries only musical choices, such as the style, key and tempo, nothing about you, and nothing is kept.
Feedback. The feedback button opens your own email app with your note. If you leave the box ticked, it adds details about the song you were working on, the app's settings, your screen size and your browser, to help us track down problems. You can read all of it, and nothing is sent until you press Send.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to take your email address off the tester list, or to delete the emails you've sent us. Just write to admin@playguitarinfo.com.

Changes to this page

If we start collecting anything new (for example, if the apps get accounts or paid plans), we'll update this page first and change the date at the top.
